Education In Action Event Focuses On Youth Employment

GREATER DES MOINES, IA (June 29, 2023) – The Greater Des Moines Partnership will host an Education in Action event on the topic of Youth Employment: How to Maximize the Opportunities on Thursday, July 20. The event will take place from 1 – 2:30 p.m. at Catch Des Moines, 400 Locust, Suite 265 in Des Moines. 

With the constant search for talent at the top of so many employers’ lists and with current legislation around youth employment, employers are exploring out how to hire youth and do it right. This workshop will gather experts and service providers who are working with youth daily.

This workshop will provide best practices on youth employment and ways to ensure employers are maximizing opportunities to employees and developing youth for the future workforce.
