Lobbyist Sydney Gangestad joins Davis Brown Law Firm
Sydney Gangestad recently joined the Davis Brown Law Firm as Special Counsel in the Government Relations department. She brings over seven years of public policy experience at the Capitol to Davis Brown where she will help clients develop their legislative agendas and represent their interests before the Iowa legislative and executive branches.
Sydney was previously Special Counsel and Legislative Liaison for the Iowa Judicial Branch. One of her responsibilities at the judicial branch was advocating for funding for the Iowa court system to ensure the delivery of equal access to justice for all Iowans. She played an integral role in the development and deployment of a successful and enduring grassroots strategy which aided the branch in developing meaningful, productive relationships with legislators in both chambers on both sides of the aisle.

Sydney earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and her J.D. at Drake University Law School.
