Greater Des Moines Partnership and City Of Des Moines Community Impact and Relations to Host Intergenerational Workforce Roundtable

GREATER DES MOINES, IA (July 30, 2025) – The Greater Des Moines Partnership, in collaboration with the City of Des Moines, will host an Intergenerational Workforce Roundtable on Thursday, Aug. 28 from 5 – 7 p.m. at Polk County River Place, 2309 Euclid Ave., Des Moines. 

“This event is intended to create space for professionals across generations to learn from one another, share ideas and form lasting connections,” said Manisha Paudel, Director at the Community Impact and Relations department. “We’re proud to support conversations that strengthen our community and help employers build a workplace culture that supports attraction and retention.” 

Designed for HR professionals, people managers and community leaders, this Intergenerational Workforce Roundtable will feature structured conversations around workplace trends, generational perspectives and strategies to support employee engagement and foster a thriving workforce. Partnership Investors have identified the importance of supporting a multigenerational workforce, and this roundtable will serve to advance conversations around best practices. 

“Creating opportunities for individuals at all career stages to connect and learn from one another is key to building a strong and dynamic workforce,” said Stacey Robles, Inclusive Talent Program Manager at The Partnership. “This roundtable encourages meaningful conversations that help professionals share perspectives, build relationships and contribute to the talent pipeline in our region.” 

This event is part of The Partnership’s ongoing Multicultural Reception and Roundtable series, which offers opportunities for individuals in Greater Des Moines (DSM) to build relationships across industries, generations and backgrounds, fostering connection and strengthening the region’s talent ecosystem.
