Greater Des Moines Hosts Third Annual Entrepreneur Field Days Series This Fall

August 12, 2025

GREATER DES MOINES, IA (Aug. 12, 2025) – The Greater Des Moines Partnership has announced the locations for the fall 2025 Entrepreneur Field Days series, featuring free educational and inspirational events around the region where attendees can network and hear from successful entrepreneurs.

With seven businesses ranging from innovative manufacturers to legacy coffee brands and up-and-coming youth ventures, each event provides a unique opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs, business supporters and curious minds to learn directly from those shaping the region’s creative and entrepreneurial economy.

Inspired by Iowa’s long-standing tradition of agricultural field days, this modern take goes beyond the farm to showcase local ingenuity, whether in science, storytelling, tech, art or food. Each event offers a behind the scenes look at how businesses start, scale and thrive with conversations designed to spark new ideas, build relationships and inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs to start something today.

The 2025 Field Day dates and locations include:

  • Tuesday, Sept. 9: Bud & Mary’s, Growing the People’s Plant: Science, Passion and Family Roots

  • Tuesday, Oct. 14: Musa’s Lemonade, Young & Driven: The Future of Youth Entrepreneurship

All sessions are free and open to the public, though registration is required. Participants are encouraged to bring a notepad, questions and a curious mind.

The Entrepreneur Field Days are sponsored by Aureon, Iowa Economic Development Authority and The Downtown Farmers Market. Additional sponsorship opportunities are still available by contacting Kathryn Smith, Director of Community Engagement at The Partnership.
