According to National Today, the top five cheeses that American like to melt on a burger are American, cheddar, Swiss, pepper jack and provolone. Food & Wine also suggests alternatives like brie, monterey jack, smoked gouda and stilton. No matter which kind of cheese you prefer, in Greater Des Moines (DSM), you’ll find that cheese can make the burger.
