Spring Preview for Athletics
This year we have a lot of new and interesting ways for people to get involved. The reason? We are working hard to grow with our membership by allowing members to become the defining factor in our expansion. Besides the extensive docket of amazing athletic activities, we have some other fun things in the mix that you can get involved in.
Adventure Club
The first of these is something we like to call the “Adventure Club.” This group was created for the adrenaline junky in all of us. Each event in this series is centered around something breath taking: skydiving, skiing, rock climbing, river rafting etc. It was created out of an innate necessity for adventure. Currently we are shooting for an official launch date of June. Let Zac know if you have interest in join this exciting group!
YPC Sports
We are also looking at adding additional sports to the our YPC lineup. Soccer and golf have been requested as of late. So this year we intend to bring soccer to the masses. We also have plans for a night golf tournament. These are just a few of the things YPC athletics has planned for the 2013 year. To learn more swing by our Athletics Committee meetings for more info. Young Professionals Connection (YPC)
The Young Professionals Connection (YPC) promotes an environment that attracts and retains young professionals in Greater Des Moines (DSM). YPC connects young professionals to each other and to the community through social, civic, charitable and professional development endeavors. YPC members have unique opportunities to grow personally and professionally and forge lasting relationships. They engage, connect and form a foundation for their future in DSM. YPC is an initiative of the Greater Des Moines Partnership.
