Featured Priority Tour on Immigration Reform

The Greater Des Moines Partnership and the Greater Newton Area Chamber of Commerce co-hosted Representative Mariannette Miller-Meeks for a tour of Tstud™ by U.S. Engineered Wood, Inc. to highlight infrastructure. As part of its advocacy efforts, The Partnership is working with all members of Iowa's Congressional delegation to plan events in Greater Des Moines (DSM) during 2021 and early 2022 to discuss featured policy priorities for the region. This event focused on The Partnership’s Federal Featured Priority of infrastructure, inviting city officials to the tour with Representative Miller-Meeks.Miller-Meeks Tour

The City of Newton and the Greater Newton Chamber of Commerce welcomed Tstud™ by US Engineered Wood, Inc. to our business community in October. Their mission is to develop and inspire a sustainable, tangible, energy efficient building solutions. During the tour with Representative Miller-Meeks, we learned that with their products, they are saving cost on energy, reducing energy consumption and reducing the carbon footprint. With their continued efforts and support they will be able to provide better solutions for affordable housing in our region. We are happy they chose Newton to continue to grow and we are thankful for Representative Miller-Meeks’ support for our business community.
