Support "Plant the HQ Here" Campaign to Bring New Headquarters to Greater Des Moines
Your voice can help position Greater Des Moines (DSM) as the ideal new global headquarters for a major employer!
Corteva recently announced the plan to separate the company into two independent, publicly traded companies; one comprising its crop protection business and the other comprising its seed business. With this split comes the opportunity for the seed business' headquarters to join other major company operations in Johnston.
Along with City of Johnston, Polk County, Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA), the State of Iowa, America's Cultivation Corridor and other stakeholders, the Greater Des Moines Partnership is asking for support for a new "Plant the HQ Here" campaign in order to show Corteva leadership that Iowa wants its headquarters here.
Why Should You Sign the "Plant the HQ Here" Petition?
Corteva's Seed HQ location will be responsible for hundreds of corporate-level jobs and continue to ensure that talent in the ag industry continues to thrive in DSM. Did you know that one-in-five Iowa jobs are in agriculture or a a related industry or that Iowa has the second-highest concentration of agriculture technicians in the country? By urging Corteva to plant its headquarters here, DSM can continue to build on its strong reputation as a leading influencer in the ag industry and a place where ag innovation is making significant strides.
