Grinnell Chamber Partners with U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation on Small Business B(AI)sics Training
The Grinnell Area Chamber of Commerce is connecting its small businesses with Doug Zawisza, a learning leader focused on strategic organizational alignment, for a Small Business B(AI)sics workshop that teaches participants about data protection, ethical AI use, AI basics, best practices and how to use AI tools on existing platforms.
AI adoption has led entrepreneurs to save time, improve customer service and create new growth opportunities so they can innovate, compete and thrive, all while strengthening their respective communities. Small Business B(AI)sics aims to train 40,000 U.S. entrepreneurs over the next three years through a mix of in-person workshops and digital learning resources, and the Grinnell Chamber is excited to bring one such opportunity to Greater Des Moines (DSM).
“In helping entrepreneurs adapt new tools, they’ll be more apt to grow their business and gain some extra time by offloading some workload,” says Rachael Kinnick, President and CEO of the Grinnell Chamber.
About the Small Business B(AI)sics Workshop
Entrepreneurs and small business owners are invited to attend the Small Business B(AI)sics workshop, a partnership of the Grinnell Chamber and US Chamber Foundation, on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2026 from 8:30 - 10 a.m. at the Grinnell College Golf Course, 933 13th Ave. in Grinnell.
