Chamber of the Year 2026 Finalist and Accredited Chambe

Greater Des Moines Partnership Receives National Recognition from U.S. Chamber of Commerce, ACCE

GREATER DES MOINES, IA (June 4, 2026) – The Greater Des Moines Partnership has been recognized as a top chamber of commerce in the country through a series of national honors.

The Partnership has earned accreditation from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, in recognition of its sound policies, effective organizational procedures and positive impact on the community. The Partnership is one of only four accredited chambers in the state. To receive Accreditation, a chamber must meet best-in-class standards in its operations and programs, including areas of governance, finance, human resources, government affairs, communications and technology.

In addition, the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) has named The Partnership a finalist for its Chamber of the Year award, the highest distinction in the chamber of commerce industry recognizing chambers that demonstrate excellence in operations, member services and impactful community leadership. This marks the first time in The Partnership’s history that the organization has advanced as a finalist for the national recognition. The Partnership team and other finalists will present before a panel of judges at the ACCE Annual Convention in July in New Orleans, where winners will be announced.

The Partnership also received a national Award of Excellence from ACCE’s Communications Excellence Awards for its website redesign, which launched in October 2025. The award recognizes excellence in chamber communications and marketing.

"These honors are a reflection of what can be achieved when a region works together with purpose,” said Chris Costa, Chair of The Partnership’s Board. “Greater Des Moines continues to stand out because of the willingness of leaders across sectors to collaborate and invest in shared success. On behalf of the Board, I’m proud to see The Partnership recognized nationally for the impact it is making on behalf of our region.”

"Being recognized among the nation’s leading chambers is a reflection of the people who make this work possible and invest in driving progress collaboratively every day,” said Tiffany Tauscheck, President & CEO of the Greater Des Moines Partnership. “These honors reflect the dedication of our team, the leadership of our Board of Directors and the commitment of our Investors, Affiliate Chambers, Regional Chamber Members and partners throughout the region. The recognitions are also a testament to the strong foundation established by those who came before us through the creation and stewardship of the Greater Des Moines Partnership. We’re proud of the momentum we’re building together and grateful to everyone who continues to invest in Greater Des Moines’ future.”

"Earning the Accreditation designation is an extraordinary accomplishment and a mark of excellence for a chamber’s organization, staff and leadership,” said Raymond P. Towle, Vice President, Federation Relations and Coalition Partnerships at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. “Achieving Accreditation reflects the completion of a comprehensive and challenging evaluation – an extensive, rigorous review of a chamber’s policies, operations and programming – as well as its leadership and impact in the community.”

"Being named a Chamber of the Year finalist is a powerful reflection of leadership, innovation and measurable impact,” said ACCE President & CEO Sheree Anne Kelly. “We congratulate these outstanding chambers on this well-deserved recognition. They are not only serving their members, they are shaping stronger economies, building more resilient communities and setting a high standard for the chamber profession.”

The Partnership's applications highlighted collaborative work happening across the region with public and private sector partners, Affiliate Chambers of Commerce and regional leaders focused on economic development, talent attraction, small business support and regional competitiveness.
