Giving Back Together: NCMIC at the Principal Charity Classic

At NCMIC, community involvement isn't just something we support — it's part of our DNA.

That's just one of the reasons we're proud to be involved with the Principal^® Charity Classic, an event that brings our employees, local businesses and community organizations together to make a lasting impact for Iowa children and families.

While the tournament delivers exciting PGA TOUR Champions golf to Des Moines each summer, its greatest impact happens off the course. Through the support of sponsors, volunteers and community partners, the Principal Charity Classic has raised more than $73 million for Iowa children's charities, impacting over 130,000 youth by funding programs that support education, health and wellness, youth development and financial security for families across the state.

For many NCMIC employees, the event is an opportunity to represent our company while supporting causes that strengthen the communities where we live and work. Whether volunteering their time, attending the tournament, or helping create awareness for the charities involved, the Principal Charity Classic is a highlight of the year that truly gives us the chance to live out our "We Take Care of Our Own” promise.
