Small Businesses Invited to Explore Contracting Opportunities

GREATER DES MOINES, IA (Sept. 10, 2025) – The Greater Des Moines Partnership along with the Greater Newton Area Chamber of Commerce and the Center for Industrial Research and Services (CIRAS) at Iowa State University will host Contracting Opportunities for Small Business on Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2025, Noon – 3 p.m. at the Newton DMACC campus. The event is free to attend and a light lunch will be provided.

This program is designed to help small business owners learn how to develop relationships with local government agencies and corporations in the contracting space. Attendees will hear briefings from participating organizations on how to do business with them, followed by networking opportunities.
