Partnership to Host Small Business Track at 2025 Central Iowa Business Conference

GREATER DES MOINES, IA (Feb. 19, 2025) – The Greater Des Moines Partnership will participate in the 2025 Central Iowa Business Conference, organized by the Urbandale Chamber of Commerce. The seventh annual conference will take place on Thursday, May 22 at the Prairie Meadows Event and Conference Center. Through this strategic collaboration opportunity, The Partnership is advancing its goal to power small business educational opportunities for businesses throughout the Greater Des Moines (DSM) region. 

The Partnership’s small business track will feature two sessions:  

  • Top Digital Marketing Trends for 2025, presented by Sarah Snider and Lindsey Moore with Strategic America, will cover the evolving digital marketing landscape. Attendees will learn about the transformative role of AI in marketing, including its benefits, challenges and ethical considerations. The session will also provide updates on major platforms like Google and Meta and their impact on marketing strategies. Additionally, the session will highlight the continued importance of video content for engagement and offer practical tips for leveraging it effectively. 

  • Finance Transformation: Best Practices for Small & Medium-Sized Businesses, presented by Carey Stover, Jade Vuong, Zach Gates, and Matt Vertin with UHY. In today’s fast-paced business environment, small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) must embrace financial transformation to stay competitive. This panel style presentation will explore key best practices to modernize financial operations, enhance efficiency and drive profitability.
