February 1, 2022

GREATER DES MOINES, IA (February 1, 2022) – The Greater Des Moines Partnership will host its DMDC 2022 trip to Washington, D.C., from Wednesday, May 11 – Friday, May 13. Registration is now open for the trip, which returns to its traditional in-person format.

DMDC is a unique opportunity for Greater Des Moines (DSM) business, community and civic leaders to promote regional and local priorities and economic development projects with one unified regional voice. The Partnership’s trip represents one of the largest Chamber of Commerce fly-ins in the country. The trip provides attendees with opportunities to interact with Congressional leaders, Iowa’s Congressional Delegation and their staff members and the Administration. Attendees also have the opportunity to network with fellow DSM leaders.

“The Partnership is excited to provide our Investors and Members this opportunity to return to Washington, D.C. in person and to engage in important conversations about issues that impact their community with influential policy leaders,” said Andrea Woodard, Senior Vice President of Government Relations and Public Policy at The Partnership. “We’re ready to advocate for key public policy issues with one voice and one mission as one united region.”

Trip options include charter air service including meals and transportation, ground transportation, baggage fees, two nights at the Hilton Capitol Hill Hotel, two luncheons, two breakfasts, one evening reception and one dinner sponsored by The Partnership’s Affiliate Chambers of Commerce. The full trip package is $2,500 for Investors and Affiliate Chamber Members and $2,700 for nonmembers. Pricing options vary if attendees choose to fly separately or stay at an alternative hotel.
