Partnership Announces Call for Applications for 2022 Inclusion Awards

GREATER DES MOINES, IA (Sept. 1, 2022) – The Greater Des Moines Partnership announced the 2022 Inclusion Awards are now open for nominations. In its 10th year, the award seeks to honor and celebrate the success of organizations that have championed diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in their businesses, organizations and in the community.

To qualify for the Inclusion Awards, organizations must be an Investor or Regional Member of The Partnership. A selection committee made up of members of The Partnership’s Inclusion Council and The Partnership team will evaluate the applications. The deadline to apply for the 2022 Inclusion Awards is Wednesday, Sept. 21.

"It is important to recognize the organizations in our community who have committed to strengthening their DEI efforts," said Marvin DeJear, Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer at The Partnership. “We want to celebrate the organizations that are continuously investing time and resources to create meaningful change.”

Winners will be announced at the 10th annual Inclusion Summit, which is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, Nov. 9 at the FFA Enrichment Center in Ankeny. Watch for more details on the Inclusion Summit in coming weeks, including keynote speakers and topics.
