Local Business School: Master Your Small Business Marketing to Begin This November
GREATER DES MOINES, IA (Oct. 13, 2022) – The Greater Des Moines Partnership will be hosting Local Business School: Master Your Small Business Marketing this November. The program for small business owners will consist of 12 sessions across six weeks with the first session taking place the week of Nov. 7. The following sessions will be weekly with the last session taking place the week of Dec. 12.
In this Local Business School series, attendees will learn today’s most effective marketing strategies that they can use to grow their local business in Greater Des Moines (DSM) and throughout Iowa. From building a strong social media strategy to creating a winning website, the program brings in subject matter experts from across the DSM region to give attendees the best tools to leverage in 2022 and beyond. Local Business School was started by Emily Steele, owner of Love Local, who will be working with The Partnership to deliver this programming.
A few topics that will be covered include:
- Brand Building
- Google Ads
- Email Marketing
- Marketing Funnels
In addition to the virtual learning sessions, participants will also receive group coaching sessions and access to individual support during office hours on Fridays. Classes will take place on Mondays from 2–3:30 p.m. and 4–5:30 p.m. Coaching calls will be offered on Thursdays from 3–5 p.m. and office hours will be available Friday from 2–4 p.m.
