Iowa Angel Investor Summit To Take Place On Nov. 14, Including An Investment Opportunity For Startups
GREATER DES MOINES, IA (Oct. 4, 2023) – The Greater Des Moines Partnership, Plains Angels and the Ag Startup Engine will hold the Iowa Angel Investor Summit on Tuesday, Nov. 14 from 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at Landus, 220 S.W. Ninth Street in Des Moines. The one-day Summit brings together active and new angel investors for a day of learning how to invest in business ventures and provide capital for startups in exchange for ownership equity.
At the event, participants will learn about the state of angel investing, come to understand rolling fund structures and term sheets, take part in how to become an angel investor workshop and more.
The event will also feature a Best of the Midwest pitch event. Up to 10 companies will be invited to pitch for a pool of investment money in exchange for equity. The pitch event is open to accredited individual investors and seed funds managers as a way to discover investment opportunities and to coinvest with Midwest investors.
