Inclusion Award Applications Are Now Open; Inclusion Summit Set For Nov. 15

GREATER DES MOINES, IA (Aug. 17, 2023) – The Greater Des Moines Partnership has announced the call for applications for the 2023 Inclusion Awards, honoring employers who have championed Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) at their businesses, organizations and in the community. This year's awards will be presented at the 11th Annual Inclusion Summit on Wednesday, Nov. 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the FFA Enrichment Center. 

To qualify for the Inclusion Awards, organizations must be an Investor or Regional Member of The Partnership. A selection committee made up of members of The Partnership’s Inclusion Council and The Partnership team will evaluate the applications. Nominees must submit their applications by Friday, Sept. 15. 

"We are excited to once again shine a spotlight on organizations that have made a difference through their dedication to fostering inclusivity and creating a sense of belonging,” said Marvin DeJear, Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer at The Partnership. “We want to recognize organizations that are working to create a more inclusive and welcoming workplace and community."
