Greater Des Moines Partnership To Host Welcome To DSM USA Reception With The Iowa Wolves
GREATER DES MOINES, IA (Nov. 17, 2022) – The Greater Des Moines Partnership will host a Welcome to DSM USA Reception on Friday, Dec. 9. The reception will take place during the Iowa Wolves vs. Grand Rapids Gold basketball game at Wells Fargo Arena. The reception will begin at 6 p.m., with the game starting at 7 p.m.
The Welcome to DSM USA Reception series was created to celebrate new Greater Des Moines (DSM) residents who have chosen to build their career, future and lives in the DSM region. Attendees can meet and mingle with other new residents while learning about community resources created to familiarize them with the region and to help them feel more at home in DSM.
“We are excited to welcome new members of the Greater Des Moines community to this reception to learn more about our region and meet with fellow new residents,” said Jenae Sikkink, Senior Vice President of Talent Development at The Partnership. “This event will give new residents an opportunity to network and enjoy a great night out with the Iowa Wolves.”
The Dec. 9 game will also be a Community Celebration Game presented by Principal® titled Disability Empowerment Night. The Community Celebration Series is a collaboration between the NBA G League Iowa Wolves and Principal®. The series is designed to celebrate the diverse cultures and backgrounds that make up the fan base of the Wolves and the broader Des Moines region.
