Greater Des Moines Partnership Announces April Multicultural Reception
GREATER DES MOINES, IA (March 29, 2023) – The Greater Des Moines Partnership announced today that it will partner with Iowa Realty to host a Multicultural Reception on Tuesday, April 25. Multicultural Receptions provide opportunities for those in the Greater Des Moines (DSM) community to develop new relationships with others who are passionate about building an inclusive community for the region. The event will take place at Iowa Realty Mills Crossing office from 4 – 6:30 p.m.
“We are excited to partner with Iowa Realty for this event which will open up opportunities for important discussions on advancing DEI in our community,” said Dr. Marvin DeJear, Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer at The Partnership. “We invite leaders and people of all backgrounds to join us to celebrate DEI and to learn more about how our community can collectively move forward on DEI initiatives.”
The event will begin with a roundtable discussion from 4 – 5 p.m. where attendees will have the opportunity to discuss a variety of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) topics of importance to their organization and the community. The Reception will begin at 5 p.m. with brief remarks around 5:30, and continue until 6:30.
