DSM Interns Invited To DSM USA Intern Bash On July 13
GREATER DES MOINES, IA (June 22, 2023) – The Greater Des Moines Partnership is partnering with the West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce to host the DSM USA Intern Bash on Thursday, July 13 from 5 – 7 p.m. at Big Grove Brewery & Taproom The event is part of The Partnership’s Intern Connection program and the West Des Moines Chamber’s YURtern college student development program.
The DSM USA Intern Bash will provide a casual networking opportunity for interns to meet young professionals in the region and practice networking skills learned during the programs over the summer.
“The Intern Bash will be a premiere event of the summer for college students who are living and working in DSM,” said Jenae Sikkink, Senior Vice President of Talent Development at The Partnership. “This will be the largest summer gathering of interns and college students from across the region, and a great opportunity to network with peers.”
“We are grateful to have so many students from across the state and country interning here this summer,” said Meredith Murphy, Talent Attraction Coordinator with the West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce. “If you have interns on your team, we encourage you to invite them to attend this event. They will benefit from the connections they are able to make in a fun, laid back setting.”
