Courtney Shaw Named to Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives 40 Under 40 List

GREATER DES MOINES, IA (Nov. 29, 2021) – Courtney Shaw, Senior Vice President of Communications at the Greater Des Moines Partnership, has been named to the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) 40 Under 40 list.

This national, annual recognition program showcases 40 of the chamber of commerce industry’s top emerging leaders who have demonstrated success in their careers and made significant contributions to the communities they serve. The list includes CEOs and staff professionals from a wide variety of roles and chamber sizes. Their creativity, dedication and commitment to identifying innovative solutions will help shape the future of the chamber profession.

“Courtney leads with positivity, care and grace to drive our organization’s communications efforts and tell our region’s story on a national and international scale,” said Tiffany Tauscheck, Chief Operations Officer at the Greater Des Moines Partnership. “She is an influential leader in DSM USA and in the chamber of commerce industry nationally, and is highly deserving of this recognition.”

Shaw joined The Partnership in 2019. She has built strong relationships with the media, and her efforts have resulted in nearly 12,000 media mentions for the organization in more than 55 countries. Shaw has led several high-profile initiatives. She played a leading role in the Iowa Caucus Consortium during the Iowa Caucuses in February 2020. Shaw worked with thousands of national and international media who registered for the Media Filing Center, which she oversaw as the primary media contact. She also helped lead The Partnership’s national digital marketing campaign focused on economic development audiences and prospective residents, among many other projects.
