What is Your Chamber’s Biggest Accomplishment in the Past 12 Months?

The Waukee Economic Development Bus Tour was held on Thursday, September 12, 2019. The Waukee Area Chamber of Commerce filled five buses for the 7th annual event. Thanks to the City of Waukee's professional staff for partnering to lead and moderate the tour showcasing business, school and residential development projects in Waukee. Hosting sponsor — The Palms Theatres & IMAX — provided a Business After Hours following the tour with beverages, networking and food.

The Waukee Area Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Committee works in cooperation with the City of Waukee, Waukee Chamber members and others to promote economic growth in the Waukee area.  Thank you to our bus tour sponsors including: Landmark, Illuminated, GreenState Credit Union, MidAmerican Energy, West Bank, Access Systems, Denny Elwell Company, State Savings Bank, Gilcrest Jewett Lumber Company, Hurd and the City of Waukee!

We appreciate all Waukee Area Chamber of Commerce members and guests for participating!

The Chamber also increased their second staff support position from part-time to full-time to assist with marketing, communications and signature event planning.

What Are Your Top Goals for the Rest of This Year?

Chamber leadership is currently building the 2020 program and looks forward to hosting our annual signature events, welcoming members to participate in our committees and highlighting the success of our business members and community in the Waukee Chamber Business Report.
