What inspired you to first get involved with your Chamber? 

I was interested in getting involved with the Grimes Chamber because it was a way that we could become immersed in the community and be a part of a wonderful business community. As a business we were drawn in by the engagement with local businesses and the inviting nature of the Grimes Chamber & Economic Development.  

What’s a signature offering of your Chamber? 

Advocacy Grimes Chamber has a strong partnership with local government officials which allows us to effectively advocate and educate decisionmakers on behalf of our nearly 300 members. We equip the business community to be heard and to have a stronger voice in the future of our vibrant and growing community.  

What is your Chamber’s biggest accomplishment in the past 12 months?

In the past 12 months Grimes Chamber & Economic Development has reorganized and added new talent which has allowed us to more professionally and effectively market our members and our community. Our members receive a greater return on investment for the funds they invest in our organization. 

Any initiative or project that you are looking forward to in 2019?  

This year Grimes Chamber & Economic Development plans to revamp and update its website to improve its mobile presence.
