Celebrate Greater Des Moines (DSM) For 515 Day On Wednesday, May 15
GREATER DES MOINES, IA (April 25, 2024) – The Greater Des Moines Partnership encourages all residents and guests of Greater Des Moines (DSM) to celebrate local businesses and restaurants throughout the region on 515 Day — Wednesday, May 15.
515 Day is a community-wide effort built to encourage residents and guests to visit and support small businesses, artists, coffee shops, restaurants and more to uplift the region and support local communities.
“515 Day serves as a reminder to support and celebrate those who help make our region uniquely Greater Des Moines through the businesses they own and the sense of place they provide,” said Tiffany Tauscheck, President & CEO at The Partnership. "Our small businesses add to the vibrancy and economic vitality of our region. We encourage everyone to support local businesses throughout our region for 515 Day and throughout the rest of the year.”

The Partnership will be partnering up with the hyper-local content creator organization, Hummingbirds, to give away a $50 gift card to Des Moines Mercantile, a Des Moines flag and socks and a DSM Local bag filled with goodies on social media in honor of the event.
