How Does a Business Join Your Chamber?

We prefer to meet with anyone who is interested in joining so we can get to know them and answer any questions they may have. They can also sign up through the Membership Tab on our website.

What Inspired You to First Get Involved with Your Chamber?

My grandparents owned a business in my hometown, and they were active in the community and members of the Chamber. After I joined the Pleasant Hill Chamber over 10 years ago, I volunteered at events and have enjoyed every minute of it.

What is a Signature Offering of Your Chamber?

Chill on the Hill is what comes to mind as it’s one of our largest events that lasts several weeks. This event supports the local live music scene, brings in a large crowd from across the region and is a great way for our members to interactively promote their businesses by being a sponsoring partner.

What is Your Chamber’s Biggest Accomplishment in the Past 12 Months?

In addition to growing our membership, we are continuing to meet with our members to get to know their needs and the best ways to support them.

What Initiative/Project Are You Looking Forward to in the Upcoming Year?

We’ve started a quarterly Power Hour which is another way to bring relevant programming to our members. Also, we recently started undergoing a brand refresh which includes a new logo and will give our website an updated look soon.

What Partnership Tools/Resources Have Been Most Beneficial to Your Chamber Members?

Our members always appreciate the variety of learning opportunities available through The Partnership. As Executive Director, it’s been a great asset to be able to connect with other Chamber leaders in the region.

What Are Your Upcoming Events?

• Annual Golf Outing at Copper Creek Golf Club on Friday, May 17 at 10 a.m.
• Chill on the Hill at Copper Creek Lake Park Fridays on June 7, 14, 21, 28, and July 12 and 19 from 6 – 9 p.m.
