WorkHound Joins Square One DSM Accelerator Program
WorkHound has joined Square One DSM’s Accelerator Program. WorkHound is a driver retention and referral platform built to help trucking companies retain and recruit drivers. It was co-founded by Max Farrell and Andrew Kirpalani. Using WorkHound’s mobile app and software product, drivers and companies can create stronger feedback loops. As a third party tool, WorkHound is able to learn what the biggest issues and opportunities are within fleets to help companies take action to improve the driver experience.
“We are excited to welcome WorkHound to our Accelerator program,” said Mike Colwell, Executive Director of Entrepreneurial Initiatives at the Greater Des Moines Partnership. “Max and Andrew are dedicated entrepreneurs and leaders in the startup community, and we look forward to assisting them in growing their customer base and directly consulting with them to help them grow their business.”
WorkHound was formed when the founders met at the Gravitate co-working space in Downtown Des Moines. The company was able to expand its regional footprint by participating in the three-month Straight Shot accelerator program in Omaha.
“Andrew and I are thrilled to make the most of Des Moines’ opportunities to help emerging companies like ours by joining Square One DSM,” said Max Farrell, co-founder of WorkHound. “The mentorship and dedicated space will empower us to double down on our growth efforts to ensure we build something the trucking industry and the Greater Des Moines community can be proud of.”
