The Black Cadillacs, The 4ontheFloor to Headline World Food & Music Festival

The Downtown Community Alliance (DCA) is pleased to announce that The Black Cadillacs and The 4onthefloor will headline the 11th Annual World Food & Music Festival, to be held Sept. 18-20, 2015 on the Walnut Street Bridge in Downtown Des Moines. The World Food & Music Festival is central Iowa’s premier celebration of culinary culture featuring diverse food vendors, cooking demonstrations, live music, cultural entertainment and international beer and wine. Admission is free.

In addition to headliners The Black Cadillacs on Friday, Sept. 18 and The 4onthefloor on Saturday, Sept. 19, The Festival will feature world, regional and local music including cultural dancers on the main stage during the three-day event. 

The Black Cadillacs are a Knoxville, TN based group with an original sound that includes influences ranging from 60’s era rock and roll to more modern grunge and indie rock to create high energy shows. They have played several national music festivals including Bonnaroo, SXSW and Summerfest and their music has been featured on national television shows including NashvilleCSIWhite Collar and Unnecessary Roughness.

The 4onthefloor are known for their heavy stomping blues-rock sound, showcasing their roots in blues and the immediacy of post-pop punk with notable high octane energy. They have toured with Lynyrd Skynyrd, Sugarland, Trampled by Turtles, Willie Nelson and Drive-by Truckers. This Minneapolis, MN band’s music has been featured on national television shows Nashville and Duck Dynasty.
