Partnership Announces Speakers For Annual Legislative Leadership Luncheon

The Greater Des Moines Partnership will unveil the 2014 State Legislative Agenda at a luncheon on Dec. 4, 2013 from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Renaissance Savery Hotel, 401 Locust Street, in Downtown Des Moines. Senate President Pam Jochum (D) and Senate Republican Whip Rick Bertrand (R) will join Speaker of the House Kraig Paulsen (R) and Assistant Democratic Leader Ako Abdul-Samad (D) to speak and participate in a panel discussion previewing the upcoming legislative session.

The program includes a legislative leadership preview of the 2014 Legislative Session, unveiling of the Partnership’s 2014 Legislative Priorities, a question and answer session with regional state legislators and Partnership program updates.

Copies of the Partnership’s 2014 Legislative Priorities will be available at the luncheon. Following the luncheon, a copy will be posted online at DSMpartnership.com/public-policy.
