Out to Lunch Downtown Food Truck Event July 14

The Downtown Community Alliance (DCA) is pleased to announce a new event, Out to Lunch, scheduled for Tuesday, July 14. Out to Lunch will feature food trucks along with live music from 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at the Mercy College of Health Sciences Campus, 928 6th Avenue in Downtown Des Moines.

This event is free to attend and open to the public. Out to Lunch will feature live music from Exit 113 and offer a variety of street food available for purchase. Food Trucks and street food vendors will include: Formaro’s Stuffed, Karam’s Grill, Local Yocal’s, The Outside Scoop, Taco Loco and Three Blind Pigs BBQ.

free shuttle will run from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on 7th Street between Locust Street and Grand Avenue to Mercy College and back. Free parking is also available at 701 Crocker, across the street from the event.

Out to Lunch is a refreshed event building on DCA’s popular Welcome Back to Walnut Street lunch series. The inaugural Out to Lunch event is celebrating Mercy College of Health Sciences’ 20th anniversary.
