MEDIA ALERT: World Food & Music Festival Will Stay Open an Extra Two Hours

The 11th Annual World Food & Music Festival will stay open an extra two hours tonight, Saturday Sept. 19 from 11 a.m. to Midnight on the Walnut Street Bridge. Remaining Festival Hours are: Saturday, 11 a.m. – Midnight and Sunday, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. The World Food & Music Festival is Central Iowa’s premier celebration of culinary culture featuring 53 diverse food vendors, 24 cooking demonstrations, live music, entertainment, international beer and wine and fireworks at 10 p.m. tonight. Admission is free. Festival attendees are invited to taste samples for $1 at every food vendor or experience the full-plate options for $5 or less. Menus for each vendor, a full list of beverages and complete programming and event schedules can be found at WorldFoodandMusicFestival.org.

Saturday night will feature headliners The 4ontheFloor at 8:30 p.m. followed by D.J. Geno Romeo from 10 p.m. to Midnight.
