MEDIA ADVISORY: Downtown Parking Press Conference

Join the City of Des Moines, Urban Land Institute Iowa and the Greater Des Moines Partnership at a news conference detailing a new pilot program to promote walkability and business activity in Downtown Des Moines.

What: City and community leaders will discuss a pilot program in which parking meters on Locust Street, Mulberry Street and Seventh Street in Downtown Des Moines will have parking restrictions lifted.

When: Tomorrow, Friday, Aug. 28, 1 p.m.

Where: Cowles Commons, 4th and Locust, Downtown Des Moines

Who: Frank Cownie, Mayor of Des Moines, Scott Sanders, Des Moines City Manager, Larry James, Chair, Urban Land Institute Iowa and Counsel at Faegre Baker Daniels LLP
