Sessions are free and open to the public from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the first Friday of each month. Locations rotate among The Iowa Center, the Greater Des Moines Partnership and Gravitate Valley Junction. The November event will be held at Iowa Center for Economic Success located at 8345 University Blvd, Clive.

Byers is a former attorney turned entrepreneur who is an avid music lover and frequent attendee at many local shows and festivals. Two-and-a-half years ago after being inspired by her experience at Folk Alliance International, Byers began hosting a monthly house concert series in her home to benefit local and touring musicians. She quickly discovered that she had found her passion in life and decided to create a way to get more people across the country hosting house concerts. Byers is the Founder and CEO of HomeDitty™, a web-based software built specifically for house concert hosts that is currently in beta testing. Byers was recently honored by the Des Moines Music Coalition as the recipient of the 2017 David Hurd Community Supporter of the Year for her dedication to coordinating local house concerts and for helping create house venues across the country.
