The Celebrate Business Awards are presented annually to promote the development of the Greater Des Moines business community by publicly acknowledging innovative and enduring business initiatives. The awards recognize companies for specific business practices such as building a reputation for integrity and quality while remaining outside the public limelight and encouraging involvement in community activities. The award categories include: Best Kept Secret, Community Champion, Innovation, Lifelong Learning and Best Place for Young Professionals.
The Economic Impact Awards recognize and commemorate the impact a company has had on the local economy in terms of job creation, capital investment and facility expansion.
The 2013 Celebrate Business Awards are co-sponsored by the Greater Des Moines Partnership and the Des Moines Business Record, with support from Simpson College, the Young Professionals Connection, and Bridgestone Firestone. Tickets for the luncheon, which is from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., are $30 per person or $250 for a table of 10.
