John Waite to headline New Music Festival in July

The Downtown Community Alliance (DCA) is pleased to announce the addition of John Waite to the lineup for the second Music Under the Canopy event:  The Singer Songwriter Music Festival presented by Community Choice Credit Union will take place July 11-13 at Brenton Skating Plaza in Downtown Des Moines.  

The Singer Songwriter Music Festival presented by Community Choice Credit Union will feature headliners Greg Brown, Anna Nalick and John Waite. Reserved seating is available along with limited premium seating, VIP and weekend pass ticket offerings. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at musicunderthecanopy.com.

Music Under the Canopy is a series of weekend summer festivals at Brenton Skating Plaza in Downtown Des Moines on June 20-22 (Americana), July 11-13 (Singer-Songwriter), and August 1-3 (Jazz). The series will be the first set of concerts taking place under a one-of-a-kind canopy that was installed at Brenton Skating Plaza in May.
