Greater Des Moines Partnership To Send 2 Startups To 2015 South By Southwest Conference
The Greater Des Moines Partnership will again offer two South By Southwest (SXSW) badges to local startup companies through its DM Startups Take SXSW contest. The contest will send the startups to the five-day SXSW Interactive Festival in Austin, Texas, in an effort to promote and enhance Central Iowa’s Startup Community. The festival is scheduled for March 13-17, 2015 and features presentations from the brightest minds in technology and networking events hosted by industry leaders.

Each package includes one badge to SXSW interactive and a travel allowance of up to $800 to be applied toward air/ground transfer and lodging. The application process will be open until Saturday, Oct. 18, and winners of the DM Startups Take SXSW contest will be notified at the end of October.
