Greater Des Moines Partnership Receives Industry Exemplar Award

August 13, 2015

The Greater Des Moines Partnership’s CarpeDM Seize Des Moines campaign has been identified as an Industry Exemplar by the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE), a national organization of professionals who manage chambers of commerce.

Collected from ACCE recognition programs throughout the year, seven chamber efforts were identified by peers as examples of industry leading practices. All were highlighted by award judges as programs of excellence worthy of benchmarking.

The Greater Des Moines Partnership’s CarpeDM Seize Des Moines campaign is a workforce attraction and retention initiative designed to showcase Greater Des Moines as an attractive place for talented workers. The campaign targets people who are interested in building a career and life in Greater Des Moines as well as people already living in the region who identify themselves as community ambassadors and want to personally champion the region’s attraction and retention efforts. CarpeDM Seize Des Moines has a quality of life website at DSMpartnership.com, an online Career Center, and leverages community champions to build use of #SeizeDesMoines on social media.

The awards were announced during ACCE’s Annual Convention in Montréal, August 12. The 2015 Industry Exemplars are:
