Ed Lorenzen To Speak On Budget As Part Of Caucus Federal Issue Series

Nationally renowned federal budget expert Ed Lorenzen will be in Des Moines on Tuesday, April 7 to participate in the Greater Des Moines Partnership’s 2015 Caucus Federal Issue Series. Lorenzen will discuss the long-term challenges facing Social Security and Medicare and how the growth of those programs impact the rest of the federal budget.

The event will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Grand View University, 1200 Grandview Avenue. Registration is $20 for Partnership Investors and Regional Members, and $25 for nonmembers. To register, go to DSMpartnership.com/publicpolicy.

Lorenzen’s presentation is part of the Greater Des Moines Partnership’s 2015 Caucus Federal Issue Series, a series of policy events in anticipation of the upcoming caucus season.
