Early Registration Deadline Is March 31 For Global Insurance Symposium

The early bird registration deadline for the third annual Global Insurance Symposium is Thursday, March 31. The Global Insurance Symposium is the world’s premier symposium for industry experts and will be held on April 26-28, 2016 in Downtown Des Moines (DSM), Iowa. It is hosted by the Iowa Insurance Institute, the Federation of Iowa Insurers, the Iowa Economic Development Authority, the Greater Des Moines Partnership and the Iowa Insurance Division.  Early bird registrants save more than 20 percent on the cost of the three-day symposium. This year’s Global Insurance Symposium is themed “Inspiring Innovation in the Insurance Industry.” New at the Symposium this year is an Innovation Track, which comprehensively explores innovation opportunities and challenges. In addition to the Innovation Track, all attendees will have the opportunity to hear presentations from companies within the Global Insurance Accelerator, a mentor-driven business accelerator designed to foster innovation in the insurance industry by supporting startups targeting the global insurance industry.

The Global Insurance Symposium features a powerhouse agenda of renowned industry keynote and panel speakers, as well as numerous opportunities for attendees to participate in roundtable and breakout discussion sessions with global insurance leaders. In addition, the Global Insurance Accelerator has partnered with the ACORD Insurance Innovative Challenge, which will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 in Downtown DSM. Created and led by ACORD, the insurance industry’s global standards and services association, the ACORD Insurance Innovation Challenge (AIIC) is an innovation competition-business incubator hybrid which identifies and promotes innovation in and for the insurance industry. Des Moines is one of four cities worldwide to host an ACORD Insurance Innovation Challenge event.
