Brenton Skating Plaza To Close For The Season March 8

March 4, 2015

Brenton Skating Plaza will be closing for the season on Sunday, Mar. 8. The last session for public skating will be Sunday from Noon – 8 p.m.

“It’s hard to say goodbye to the ice and close the skating season but also exciting to think about the transformation that happens here with the addition of The Canopy,” says Robbin McClelland, General Manager of Brenton Skating Plaza. “Spring is near, and with it comes events and weddings under our one-of-a-kind canopy.”

Brenton Skating Plaza’s canopy will be installed in mid-May for the second year.  The canopy enables Brenton Skating Plaza to function as a unique outdoor venue, offering panoramic cityscape views and the benefit of rain and sun protection underneath its’ 160-foot canopy. The space hosts more than 40,000 ice skaters and guests throughout the year.

Please visit brentonplaza.com for more information about facility rental or public skating hours today through close.
