Brenton Skating Plaza Available For Outdoor Rental
Brenton Skating Plaza will again install its one-of-a-kind 160-foot canopy this spring and summer for outdoor events and concerts. The canopy, which will be installed for the third year in a row, enables Brenton Skating Plaza to function as a unique outdoor venue, offering panoramic cityscape views and the benefit of rain and sun protection. The facility is available for rent to companies and organizations that are hosting public or private events from May through mid-October.
“Brenton Skating Plaza provides a perfect location for corporate events, parties and receptions during the spring, summer and fall,” said Robbin McClelland, General Manager of Brenton Skating Plaza. “It has become a very popular venue for business gatherings, weddings and concerts.”
Brenton Skating Plaza is currently scheduled to host four concerts as part of Nitefall on the River, including Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers on May 20, Here Come the Mummies on June 3, Josh Garrels on July 2 and Slightly Stoopid on Aug. 3. More shows will be announced in coming months.

Brenton Skating Plaza has also reported high attendance for its winter skating season that ended March 6. For November 2015 through March 2016, Brenton Skating Plaza welcomed 37,445 attendees, which was the second-highest attendance number in the facility’s 10-year history.
