Bobby Jindal To Speak At Caucus Candidate Forum Series

October 13, 2015

The 2016 Iowa Caucus Consortium is pleased to announce Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal will speak at the Caucus Candidate Forum Series on Friday, Oct. 30 at the State Historical Building. The event will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the formal program will start at noon. Advanced registration is strongly encouraged. Register here. Media members interested in attending should contact Kyle Oppenhuizen at koppenhuizen@DSMpartnership.com

The Caucus Candidate Forum Series is an effort to allow Greater Des Moines (DSM) community members and business leaders to learn about and interact with presidential candidates. The Consortium has offered the opportunity to all presidential candidates and potential candidates from both sides of the political aisle to speak at the Forum Series during the coming months. Jindal’s presentation is the sixth announced in the series.

Caucus Candidate Forum Series events are free and open to the public. Candidates are allotted 40 minutes to speak to the audience and then open up a question-and-answer session for 15-20 minutes. Due to the nature of political campaigns, future forum dates, times and speakers will be announced as they are booked.

The Caucus Candidate Forum Series is one of many efforts of the Iowa Caucus Consortium to highlight Iowa’s first in the nation Caucuses. Find more information about Consortium events and educational resources at IowaCaucus.org.
