Applications Are Open For The Celebrate Business Awards

Applications are now open for the Celebrate Business Awards, produced by the Greater Des Moines Partnership and the Des Moines Business Record. The Celebrate Business Awards promote the development of the Greater Des Moines (DSM) business community by publicly acknowledging unique and enduring business initiatives. Area businesses are encouraged to apply or nominate other businesses. The application deadline is Friday, Sept. 9.

The awards recognize companies for specific business practices, such as encouraging involvement in community activities, creating an employee-friendly work environment and building a substantial reputation for integrity and quality while remaining outside the public limelight. 

Expanding or new businesses are also recognized each year with the Economic Impact Awards to commemorate the impact a company has had on the local economy in terms of job creation, capital investment and facility expansion.
