Central Iowa Human Capital Survey Results Announced
In order to determine the community connectedness of our residents, the Human Capital Survey focused on the beliefs and experiences of Greater Des Moines (DSM) residents to assess the degree to which they feel connected and embedded to the region. The survey was the first of its kind in Iowa, and to the knowledge of the Partnership, the first of its kind throughout the U.S.
The goal of the survey was to determine the likelihood that residents will remain in the region. The results were overwhelmingly positive and concluded that the majority of people living in Des Moines feel connected, safe, engaged and able to achieve the things in life that are important to them.
