The Chamber is an integral part of improving the community’s quality of life by supporting local businesses and driving many community events. If the goal is for a community to grow and improve, involvement in the Chamber is a great place to start.

We are a small chamber and community so we can cater membership benefits to the needs of most businesses.

What is Your Chamber’s Biggest Accomplishment in the Past 12 Months?

In Pleasant Hill we have many accomplishments, but this year we managed to help several of our businesses grow with social media and followers.

What Initiative/Project Are You Looking Forward to in the Upcoming Year?

In 2021, we are looking forward to getting back to normal. We are looking forward to starting an Ambassador Program to help with renewals and new businesses.

What Partnership Tools/Resources Have Been Most Beneficial to Your Chamber Members?

Chamber members love the trainings and networking opportunities. They find it helps grow their business and brand.

What Are Your Upcoming Events?

Most events are being held online. We will hold a Drive-Up Fireworks Display on Sunday, September 6. This will be a partnership with Southeast Polk School District, City of Pleasant Hill, Elder Corporation, Altoona Facebook Data Center and Prairie Meadows.
