2023 Festival Location

The 2023 DSM Book Festival will take place on Saturday, March 25 at Capital Square, 400 Locust Street, in Downtown Des Moines (DSM).

Festival Parking

Des Moines BCycle

Rent a bicycle to ride around Downtown DSM! Des Moines BCycle members can pick up a bike at any B-station and return it to any of the conveniently located stations around Downtown DSM. Not a member? No problem. Visit Des Moines BCycle for more information.

Free Downtown D-Line Shuttle

Riding the bus around Greater Des Moines (DSM) is simple with the Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority (DART). DART offers a free Downtown D-Line shuttle with buses stopping every 10 minutes at bus stops on Grand Avenue, Locust Street and Walnut Street located within Downtown DSM Monday through Saturday.
